Student video competition winners
We were impressed by the varied and creative entries we received for this year's video competition. The focus was on collaboration, and we were pleased to see students work together to complete their entries. The competition will be back next year and we encourage students to make the most of the opportunity to showcase their language skills, creativity and tech capability.
Congratulations to the following winners of the 2023 NZALT Video Competition:
Year 7: Mission Heights Junior College
Year 8: Woodford House
Year 9: Marlborough Girls' College
Year 10: Woodford House
NCEA change information and support
Our MoE Learning Languages team are facilitating a number of online and face to face workshops to support teachers to get to grips with the new NCEA Level 1 assessments and changes next year. Annelies Mead and Belinda Sydenham are running the following workshops in Term 3.
They also have a padlet which they are adding to continuously where we can access important information about the NCEA change.
