The 2024 NZALT conference was a huge success. A huge thank you to Professor Martin East and Dr Constanza Tolosa who convened such a high quality event. Thank you to the presenters for generously donating time to prepare and present and for sharing their resources with us.

NZALT Cluster dates Term 3

NZALT NCEA Level 1 Jumbo marking days
A big thank you to all who have hosted, facilitated, and attended these days so far. They have been very successful and have highlighted the value and importance of working together in our language teaching community.
This term there is one remaining marking day in Christchurch which is going to be held on September 12th. More information and the link for registration can be found on our website.
Tui Tuia | Learning Circle
Tui Tuia has many great PLD courses for language teachers running throughout the year. Keep an eye out for the Tui Tuia Grow programmes coming out soon for 2025.
NCEA Level 1 support from the NIFs
We have a super supportive team of NCEA in school support facilitators able to help with the implementation of the NCEA Level 1 standards. Please check out their workshops and the different types of support on offer on our website here.
