The NZALT conference committee is thrilled to invite you to beautiful Ōtautahi Christchurch for the 51st NZALT Conference, taking place from 4 – 6 July 2026.

Kick off the experience with language immersion days on Saturday 4 July, followed by a warm welcome at our evening reception at Ilex Café, nestled in the heart of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

This year’s theme, Languages for Life: Equipping Ākonga for a Future Without Borders, celebrates the transformative power of languages in shaping global citizens.

The conference will be hosted at St Andrew’s College on Papanui Road, offering a vibrant and accessible venue for three days of inspiring presentations, workshops, and networking.
