We hope you are excited about our upcoming 50th Anniversary Conference in Auckland. The NZALT AGM will take place during the conference on Monday 8 July at 3 p.m. in room OGGB 4. Please find the agenda here. You can view the minutes from the 2023 AGM here. If you are unable to attend this meeting and would like to attend via Zoom, please email secretary@nzalt.org.nz by July 1, 2024, to arrange this.
As highlighted in our May 6 newsletter, Martin East and I will be stepping down from our respective NZALT Executive roles as treasurer and secretary at the AGM. Nominations for these positions have now closed and elections will take place at the AGM.
We would like to remind members that we are keen to grow our executive to reflect our community and would like to hear from anyone interested in supporting the NZALT Executive (either in an advisory role or as an Executive member) from the following backgrounds:
- Te Reo Māori
- Tertiary institutions
- Primary schools
- ECE
In addition, we would like to grow our social media presence and would like to have someone to support us who has expertise in this area.
