We hope Term 1 is well underway. We know you will all be very busy and we hope school life is treating you well.
This newsletter contains some reminders about key due dates for conference grant applications, Excellence certificates, and other NZALT awards.

NZALT Conference Grants - Due 29th February at 5pm
If you would like to apply for a grant to cover travel and accommodation to attend the 50th Anniversary NZALT conference (6-9 July), please find more information and the application form here on our website. These are due tomorrow, 29th Feb, 5pm. Applicants will be notified by Sunday 3rd. Successful applicants will need to submit receipts for flights and accommodation for reimbursement by 15th March.
Please note the ultra earlybird conference rate of $100 also closes tomorrow, 29th February. To register visit the NZALT conference website.
NZALT Excellence Certificates for students - Information due 1st March
If you would like to provide certificates for students who have achieved Excellence endorsements in Learning Languages please submit your student names and details to certificates@nzalt.org.nz by Friday 1st March. For more information please visit our website.
Other NZALT Awards are due at the end of March
If you are applying for other NZALT awards, please remember they are due at the end of March.

- Excellence in Leadership

2024 NZALT Membership information
Invoices for NZALT 2024 membership have gone out on 1 February to all 2023 paid members. If you are still waiting for your invoice, please check your school and private email addresses and their spam folders. If you have moved schools over summer, your online profile is still valid. So please log in with your old school email address, following these instructions for resetting your password if you haven’t logged in before. Then go to the ‘Edit’ tab and change your primary email address and your ‘Organisation’. Once you are logged in, you can also find your invoice in the ‘invoices’ tab and download it.
For those who were not paid members in 2023 and would like to join, please see more details and our application form on our website. Instructions for resetting your password can also be found there. Please check if you already have an account on our website before registering again to avoid creating more than one account. If you received the newsletters via mailchimp prior to 2023, your email address will be registered on our website.
