We've made it! We hope you have had a successful Term 1. This newsletter contains updates about the Canterbury and Waikato LangSems early Term 2 and our upcoming AGM. We will send out a full newsletter at the beginning of Term 2. In the meantime we wish you a very happy Easter break! Please keep in touch.
Canterbury LangSem 29th April
Thank you to those of you who have volunteered to run a workshop at LangSem and those who have already registered. It is going to be a great day!
Liam Printer has some fabulous, easy ideas for fun activities in the classroom and much more.
Monique Anderson, from the Ministry will be running some workshops as well as giving a presentation about the new standards and will be available to answer questions. (Questions in advance would be appreciated but she is happy to answer anything you may think of on the day)
TuiTuia advisors will be running workshops and there will be language specific groups as well. There will also be a delicious morning tea and lunch.
Registrations will close Wednesday 27th April but please register as soon as you can to help us with numbers for catering.

Waikato LangSem 13th May

NZALT AGM 2nd June at Napier Boys High School
Our NZALT AGM will take place during the Hawkes Bay LangSem at Napier Boys High School, 2nd June, 1.30 - 2 pm.
A newsletter with the details for the AGM will be sent out during the school holidays. This will also be available on our website soon. A zoom link for this meeting will be sent out to people who cannot be in Napier during this time.
