Humanities Professional Development Day at Victoria University

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington are excited to invite you to a Humanities Professional Development Day, designed for secondary school teachers who specialise in Languages, Linguistics, Drama, and Social Sciences.
This is an opportunity to meet and connect with academics in your field who will provide insights into specific subjects and offer teaching ideas and discussion points to take back to your classroom.
You will have the opportunity to network and collaborate with other educators and share your insights with us. We are eager to connect and understand more about what you’re facing as educators in the secondary school sector.

When: Monday 11 November, 8.45am – 3pm
Who: The programme is aimed at Languages, Linguistics, Drama, and Social Sciences secondary school teachers. Some sessions have limited places so it will be first in first served.
Where: Victoria University of Wellington, Kelburn Campus, Kelburn Parade Wellington
Cost: No cost to attend, however attendees are to organise transport at their own cost. Lunch will be provided.
Registration: Each representative to register here by Friday 1 November.
